UA, Stillman Event to Record Oral History, Personal Stories from Civil Rights Movement

A joint event between The University of Alabama and Stillman College will be held on Wednesday, April 13, from 7-9 p.m. in Stinson Auditorium on Stillman campus called “Memoirs: Perspectives on Black History.”

UA Arty Party April 16 to Benefit Department of Art

Silent and live art auctions, an exhibition of nationally known contemporary artist Vernon Fisher, dinner, and a special tribute to Mrs. Farley Moody Galbraith of Anniston will highlight The Arty Party Saturday, April 16 at The University of Alabama. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at Woods Hall on the UA campus.

The Sarah Moody Gallery of Art at The University of Alabama presents the 2005 Farley Moody Galbraith Endowed Exhibition from April 15-June 15. This year’s exhibition will feature work by internationally-acclaimed, Texas-based artist Vernon Fisher.
