UA Graduate School to Host 2005 Preview Day

The University of Alabama Graduate School will conduct a Graduate School Preview Day on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 3 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Theater on campus. The purpose of this event is to provide information to undergraduate students and other prospective graduate students who are interested in pursuing a graduate degree at UA.

Public Nights Sky Viewing Set at UA

The University of Alabama astronomy program will hold its Public Nights series offering sky viewing through telescopes at Gallalee Hall on campus and in Moundville Archaeological Park.

James Padilla, President and COO of Ford Motor Co., to Deliver Business Hall of Fame Keynote Address at UA

James J. Padilla, president and chief operating officer of Ford Motor Co. and a member of the company’s board of directors, will deliver the keynote address at the 2005 Alabama Business Hall of Fame induction ceremony Thursday, Oct. 6. The black-tie dinner and induction ceremony will be held at the Bryant Conference Center on The University of Alabama campus beginning at 7:30 p.m.

UA Museum’s Photo Exhibit to Provide Rare Glimpse of State’s Historical Landscape
