UA Football Broadcaster Eli Gold to Sign Copies of ‘Crimson Nation’ Aug. 18

Radio broadcaster Eli Gold, best known as the “Voice of The University of Alabama Crimson Tide,” will sign copies of his new book, “Crimson Nation: The Shaping of the South’s Most Dominant Football Team” from noon until 3 p.m. on Aug. 18 at the Paul W. Bryant Museum, on the UA campus.

James Padilla, President and COO of Ford Motor Co., to Deliver Business Hall of Fame Keynote Address at UA

James J. Padilla, president and chief operating officer of Ford Motor Co. and a member of the company’s board of directors, will deliver the keynote address at the 2005 Alabama Business Hall of Fame induction ceremony Thursday, Oct. 6. The black-tie dinner and induction ceremony will be held at the Bryant Conference Center on The University of Alabama campus beginning at 7:30 p.m.
