UA Evolution Lectureship Series Begins with Evolutionary Philosopher Massimo Pigliucci

A nationally recognized expert on evolutionary biology will kick-off the second year of a two-year series of public lectures on evolution at The University of Alabama Sept. 14. Dr. Massimo Pigliucci will speak at 7:30 p.m. in the Biology Building Auditorium, room 125, on the UA campus.

Talladega Superspeedway Designer to Meet UA Students

William Moss, owner of Moss Enterprises Inc. and designer of the Talladega Superspeedway, will address students, faculty and staff Thursday, Sept. 14, as part of the College of Engineering’s Dean’s Leadership Series: “So, You Want to be a CEO,” which brings prominent business leaders to The University of Alabama to lecture and meet with students.
