Successful UA Fall Sorority Recruitment Concludes
Of the 2,442 young women who registered for Fall 2015 formal recruitment at The University of Alabama, 93 percent (2,261 women) received bids from the 16 Panhellenic sororities on the UA campus. The number of women who initially registered increased by more than 7 percent, and the total who received bids increased by 10 percent over last year.

The University of Alabama’s Alabama Panhellenic Association has received a College Panhellenic Excellence Award from the National Panhellenic Conference, an umbrella group for 26 national and international sororities. The award recognizes the success of UA’s Alabama Panhellenic Association in upholding the values and ideals of a Panhellenic in the areas of recruitment, Panhellenic structure, area adviser communication, judicial procedures, Panhellenic programming, academics and Panhellenic community impact and relations.
