UA Community Director Receives Prestigious Award

Amanda Wallace, community director in Housing and Residential Communities at The University of Alabama, was recently selected as recipient of the William Leftwich Award for Outstanding New Professional in NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, Region III.

Shanna Hocking Named Director of Leadership Gifts at UA

Shanna Hocking has been named director of leadership gifts at The University of Alabama. In this role, she will work with major gift donors, focusing on fund-raising efforts for the “Our Students. Our Future.” campaign. Hocking moves to her new position from UA’s School of Social Work where she served as director of advancement.
