A total of 417 students enrolled during the 2017 summer semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).

Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States Sonia Sotomayor will be unable to visit The University of Alabama School of Law this week for the Albritton Lecture and related events. Weather caused by Hurricane Irma made her scheduled flights impossible.

The University of Alabama has no plans to close the Tuscaloosa campus at this time. Tuscaloosa County is not in a warning area and is only expected to have a wind advisory beginning at 9 a.m. Monday and continuing until 1 a.m. Tuesday. Campus officials will continue to monitor weather conditions tonight and tomorrow.
