UA’s Creative Campus Launches Crimson Arts Tickets

The Creative Campus Initiative at The University of Alabama is pleased to announce the launch of Crimson Arts Tickets. This cross-departmental venture will allow anyone the ability to reserve tickets to cultural arts events offered at UA with improved ease and availability.

Dean’s List Students Named at UA

A total of 262 students enrolled during the summer 2007 semester at The University of Alabama made the Dean’s List with academic records of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale), or the President’s List with academic records of 4.0 (all As).

University of Alabama students are being asked to show their school spirit by making small contributions to a UA scholarship fund for first-in-family college students through the SGA SPIRIT campaign. UA Business School Ranked 29th Among Public Institutions by U.S. News and World Report

The Culverhouse College of Commerce at The University of Alabama is among six public universities ranked 29th among public undergraduate business schools in the latest U.S. News and World Report college rankings. Culverhouse is ranked 48th when private universities are included. More than 1,700 institutions offer undergraduate degrees in business.

UA Wheelchair Basketball Players Bring Home the Gold

With the help of four University of Alabama players on the national team, the U.S. Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Team won their first gold medal at the 2007 Parapan American Games.
