UA’s Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity Hosts Bone-Marrow Registration
The University of Alabama’s Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity is sponsoring a Be the Match on Campus bone-marrow registration drive from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, March 6, at the fraternity house, 202 University Blvd. on campus. The event is the fraternity’s second Hadley Drive, which began as a search for a bone-marrow donor match for Hadley Mercer, the infant daughter of UA alumnus and fraternity member Brad Mercer. A match was found for Hadley, but the drive will continue in her honor to help register more potential donors in the hopes of saving more lives.
