Justice Lyons, UA Law Students Honored

Champ Lyons Jr., associate justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, was recently inducted into the Order of Samaritan, the highest service honor of the Public Interest Institute at The University of Alabama School of Law. Justice Lyons’ induction was recognition for his lifetime of public service to the state of Alabama.

After two consecutive record setting months, home sales in Alabama slowed in September, down 14.2 percent from August, according to figures compiled by the Alabama Real Estate Research and Education Center at The University of Alabama.

Re-ACT, Re-CARD — UA Students Required to Replace Action Cards

With The University of Alabama’s recent conversion to a campus wide ID number as the student identifier, all UA students will be required to replace their current Action Card with the new Action Card by Nov. 21.
