UA Career Center Sponsors Recruitment of Educators Day

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Career Center will host UA-RED (Recruitment of Educators Day) on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the University Church of Christ, 1200 Julia Tutwiler Drive, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

School systems from across the Southeast will be on campus to interview current teachers, all majors interested in teaching, education majors and UA alumni for teaching positions in the area. More than 50 schools are expected to participate in this annual event. A list of participants can be viewed at www.career.ua.edu.

The participants will sign up for interviews from 9-10 a.m., and interviews will begin at 10 a.m. Dress is interview attire, and attendees are encouraged to bring several resumes; portfolio is optional.
