American Legion Alabama Boys State Honors UA President with Thompson Award

The American Legion Alabama Boys State convention has awarded University of Alabama President Judy Bonner with its highest honor, the James V. Thompson Award. Named after the first young man elected Alabama Boys State governor, this is the first time the Thompson Award has been awarded to a woman.
