TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama College of Arts and Sciences announces that Dr. Dennis Watson, president of the National Black Youth Leadership Conference, will address UA faculty and students in two presentations at Morgan Auditorium on Thursday, Sept. 22.
He will speak to students on “Challenges Facing Students in a Multicultural World: Getting Ready for a Diverse and Successful World” at 4 p.m. A reception will follow. Then, at 7:30 p.m. Watson will talk to faculty on “Challenges Facing Students and Faculty in a Multicultural World: Getting Ready for a Diverse and Successful World.”
Watson is a motivational speaker who has been recognized and commended by former Presidents Ronald Reagan, George Bush and Bill Clinton, as well as by many university presidents and officials. Watson has been praised for his insightfulness and manner of thinking about issues facing us in the 21st century.
