TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Three films produced as collaborations by University of Alabama faculty will be screened Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bama Theater.
The films are:
- “Ballet Noir: the Tango,” produced and choreographed by Rita Snyder, associate professor of theater and dance, and directed by Aaron Greer, assistant professor of telecommunication and film.
- “A Night in the Theater,” written and produced by Seth Panitch, assistant professor of theatre, and Greer.
- “Flying Away: Profile of an Artist,” choreographed by Cornelius Carter, director of the UA dance program and professor of dance, and produced and directed by Greer.
The filmmakers will be in attendance and available for a question and answer session following the screening. Light refreshments will follow. The screening is free and open to the public. The event is sponsored by UA’s Creative Campus Initiative, College of Communication and Information Sciences and the College of Arts and Sciences.
