TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama’s School of Library and Information Studies will hold its annual children’s and young adult book sale Dec. 4-6.
The book sale will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 4 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 5-6. It will be held on the fifth floor of Gorgas Library in the School of Library and Information Studies’ study area.
Specialty and toy books will be priced at $5 each, hardcover books at $4, board books and paperbacks at $2. A limited number of free books will also be available. Cash, checks and purchase orders will be accepted.
Proceeds from the sale support the National Latino Children’s Literature Conference, housed in the School of Library and Information Studies.
The event is open to the public.
