Olivet was named the non-credit recipient for her leadership and teaching in several programs on health and aging issues.

Sponsored for the first time by the college’s board of visitors, the award included a plaque and a monetary award. Dr. Carolyn C. Dahl, dean of the college, made presentations to the winners at a recognition dinner held Friday, Sept. 20, at Indian Hills Country Club in Tuscaloosa.
