UA Student Radio Station, 90.7 the Capstone, Brings Tuscapalooza to Tuscaloosa

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — WVUA-FM 90.7 The Capstone is presenting Tuscapalooza, an event devoted to experiencing the diversity of Tuscaloosa’s music scene, on Friday, March 28, at the Bama Theatre in downtown Tuscaloosa.

WVUA-FM 90.7 The Capstone, The University of Alabama student-run radio station, is a nonprofit entity that allows UA students to gain real-world experience in all areas related to radio.

Tuscapalooza will be held from 3 p.m.-3 a.m.

Featured artists will include Baak Gwai, Ahead Band, Skullduggery, The Universe, Squirrelhouse, The Pinnacles, 22 Short Street, Sons of Thunder, The Bonky Bonks, The National Trust, Ominous Castle, The Right Brain Society, Blaine Duncan the Lookers and more. Between bands, 90.7 The Capstone will host games and contests for the audience, with prizes provided by local sponsors.

General admission is $10, with $5 admission for children 12 and under.

Profits from Tuscapalooza will go toward improvements at the radio station.
