Love fall and UA? Put your creativity to the test with the Crimson Carving and Creations Contest.
This year, the judges are looking for any creation that looks like a pumpkin with a UA theme, whether it’s a carved jack-o-lantern, a decorated baked good, a sculpture, a collage, anything goes!
Create a UA-themed pumpkin using whatever material you want, snap a photo and submit it for a chance to be featured on social media and win a prize package!
What to Know
- Submissions can be anything that looks like a pumpkin but must be Bama-themed. Examples: 3D-printed pumpkin, cake, handmade crafts, etc.
- Submissions must be sent to social@ua.edu. By submitting your pumpkin photo via email, you consent to your photo potentially being republished.
- The deadline to enter is 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 29.
- The winner will be announced on Halloween via UA’s social media platforms.
Crimson Carving and Creations Contest Rules
ELIGIBILITY: This contest is open to all UA fans located within the United States.
HOW TO ENTER: Submit a photo of your Bama-themed pumpkin creation to social@ua.edu with your name and location. Entries must be the sole work of the contestant.
Entries may not include: (a) obscene, indecent, discriminatory, or insensitive depictions or images; (b) profanity or other material deemed inappropriate or offensive. If an entry includes any of the prohibited elements above, the entry and contestant will be disqualified.
**By submitting an entry, the contestant acknowledges that the entry may be posted on UA’s website or social media channels. Not all entries are guaranteed to be posted.
PRIZES: one (1) Grand Prize winner will be awarded a prize pack from The University of Alabama. Two (2) Honorable Mentions will be awarded a Where Legends Are Made mini-prize pack provided by UA’s Division of Strategic Communications.
JUDGING: Entries will be evaluated by the social media team within UA’s Division of Strategic Communications.
