It’s all treats and no tricks this month! October is filled with Alabama watch parties, Career Center events and Halloween-themed fun all around Tuscaloosa.  

Keep reading to learn about all the spooktacular events happening.

Experience the artistic talent of hardworking students at the Gorgas Library Art Show. Here you’ll enjoy a variety of artwork and light refreshments while honoring the featured artists.  

Alabama vs. Vanderbilt Tailgate 
Oct. 4, 11:30 a.m., The Quad 

Join University Programs three hours before kickoff for the Vanderbilt game. There will be plenty of free food and drinks, giveaways and Bama pride!   

2025 Majors Fair

World Mental Health Day

Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre: Resonance  
Oct. 14-Oct. 17, 7:30 p.m., Dance Theatre 

Resonance combines contemporary, classical and experimental styles of dance into a vibrant performance. Purchase single tickets or performance packages with varying prices for students and faculty.  

Alabama vs. Tennessee Tailgate
Oct. 18, 3 hours before kickoff, The Quad 

Roll Tide and get ready to beat Tennessee with another student tailgate put on by University Programs.

Moundville Native American Festival  
Oct. 9-11, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Moundville Archaeological Park 

Discover the rich culture and histories of the Native Americans that call Alabama their home. The 37th annual festival features dancers, storytellers, crafters, art vendors and a selection of local Native food vendors. Tickets are only available for purchase at the event.

Kentuck Festival of the Arts  
Oct.11 and 12, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Snow Hinton Park  

Celebrate creativity, culture and community at the 54th Annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts. This two-day event is filled with live entertainment, food trucks, kids’ activities and inspiring artwork.  

Telegraph String Quartet in Concert  
Oct. 13, 7:30 p.m., Grace Presbyterian Church  

Listen to beautiful pieces from the Telegraph String Quartet. Students are admitted free, but donations are appreciated! 

Tuscaloosa Angels Golf Tournament  
Oct. 16, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Ol’ Colony Golf Complex 

Support the Tuscaloosa Angels and the West Alabama foster care community at their 2025 golf tournament. Teams for this event are sold out, but sponsorships are still available.  

Cinderella by World Ballet Company  
Oct. 16, 7 p.m., The Historic Bama Theatre 

Enjoy a Broadway-style ballet experience based on one of the most iconic fairy tales. Come see 40 international dancers, over 150 radiant hand-sewn costumes, exquisite hand-crafted sets and enchanting choreography.

T-Town Witches Ride
