Non-Traditional Student Honor Society, Pinnacle, Now Taking Applications

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Pinnacle chapter is now accepting applications for membership.

Founded at Murray State University in 1989, Pinnacle is a national honor society for adult and non-traditional students. Since it began in 1989, Pinnacle has grown to more than 135 campuses nationwide.

Pinnacle was created to provide adults and non-traditional students with the same recognition other traditional students receive. Criteria for Pinnacle membership include leadership abilities, volunteer service, GPA and number of academic hours.

Application and information is also available at academicourtreach.ua.edu. Deadline for applications is Jan. 30.
