With the President’s Mansion scheduled to begin a preservation and restoration project starting Dec. 15, UA is offering spring and summer 2026 graduate candidates the chance to be selected for a professional photo shoot later this month.
May and August 2026 graduates are asked to share their Alabama experience with the Division of Strategic Communications for a chance to have professional photos taken at the President’s Mansion. From what brought you to the Capstone to academic and personal achievements to research and study abroad stories, your unique UA journey helps shape the place Where Legends Are Made. Selected stories may also appear as part of a commencement series on the UA News Center.
Participants must be in good standing and are asked to provide several pieces of information including a 200-word summary of their Alabama Experience and faculty or staff reference.
The deadline to submit your Alabama Experience is Nov. 17 and the photo shoot will take place Nov. 19.
