WellBAMA, the signature wellness program for UA faculty and staff, is launching a new rewards program in January.
Designed to empower employees to master their health and achieve greater fulfillment and balance in their lives, the program allows employees to earn points for participating in well-being activities. It offers more opportunities to earn points and increased flexibility to attend activities around various work schedules, with many options available virtually. It also gives UA employees the ability to customize their well-being journey based on personal interests and health goals.
How it Works
UA employees can receive WellBAMA Rewards when they accumulate at least 50 points. Rewards are distributed in $50 increments based on points earned, with a maximum of $100 in rewards available per calendar year.
Most WellBAMA Rewards will be distributed in January 2026, following the conclusion of the rewards year. However, employees who attend a health screening will receive the points value of $50 as a gift card early, at the time of the screening.

WellBAMA Rewards Week will be held Jan. 6-10 with live, virtual information sessions and an in-person event. Employees are encouraged to attend as many events as they would like throughout the week so they can learn more about the new WellBAMA Rewards structure and how to start earning points.
