Wear your professional attire, practice your elevator pitch, print copies of your résumé and get ready to make your mark! If you are in need of business professional clothing, the Crimson Closet located in the Student Center loans clothes to students for free. Crimson Ride buses will make stops by Coleman throughout the day. Remember student check-in is at the North Coliseum entrance. Register ahead of time in Handshake.

Alabama Baseball First Pitch Banquet
Feb. 1, 6-9 p.m., Tuscaloosa River Market and Visitors Center
Support and celebrate the Alabama Baseball Team at the First Pitch Banquet. The night begins with a (ticketed but optional) Happy Hour where you can meet players and receive a signed poster. Dinner, catered by Southern Ale House, begins at 6:30 p.m. There will be Bingo with prizes, a cash bar and a silent auction.
Southeast Fiddle Fest
Feb. 2, Shelton State Community College
Come on down to the ninth annual Southeast Fiddle Championship! Over $10,000 in prize money will be awarded to the best buck dancers, mandolinists, guitarists, banjo players, bands and — of course— fiddlers of all ages. This family-friendly festival celebrates timeless music and musicians.
Lake Lurleen Orienteering Challenge

Friends of Lake Lurleen plan to set up an orienteering course at Lake Lurleen State Park. Normal park entry fees are $5 for adults. Orienteering employs a map and compass to navigate an outdoor terrain quickly. Participate at your own risk. Bring your own maps and compasses!

More Amor Run 5K and Fun Run

More Amor Run will benefit the Tuscaloosa Latino’s general fund in order to continue their parenting and children’s programming, according to their website. A Latino business fair, music, a health fair and food will add to the fun. The race fee is $30. Run now to register before Feb. 7.
