Locally, the station can be picked up on any radio by tuning to 92.5 FM. It can also be streamed online at ready.ua.edu/925fm, news.ua.edu or through the UA Safety app, which can be downloaded for free on any iOS or Android device.
2. The station was launched to provide safety information during campus emergencies, such as severe weather.
Any time severe weather threatens UA’s campus or its immediately surrounding areas, the station provides up-to-date information about open on-campus storm shelters, BARAs, class cancellations, suspension of certain operations, and proper safety procedures as well as updated weather forecasts.
3. Tune to the station every home football game weekend.
Hear traffic updates, parking and safety information, songs by the Million Dollar Band, Crimson Tide sports history, and everything you need to know about what’s happening on campus for the day.
4. UA Info Radio broadcasts information about the University 24/7.
Outside of football, commencement and severe weather coverage, the station provides daily road closure and construction updates, information about events taking place on campus, and in-depth looks at campus programs and aspects of UA history.
