University Recreation’s Outdoor Rec is open to anyone — no UREC membership is needed to rent gear, book trips or reserve a spot on the rock-climbing wall.
A total of 1,322 items can be rented from Outdoor Rec, ranging from hiking and climbing equipment to kayaks and canoes. Outdoor items can be rented solo, or at group/family rates for a discounted price.
Outdoor Rec specializes in custom trips for friends, families and co-worker groups where teambuilding programs are available to bring your group closer through a unique, outdoor experience.
Training sessions are available for those who want to learn more about Outdoor Rec’s hiking, rock climbing, whitewater rafting and other adventure services.
