UA’s new Performance Review System for staff employees is now live. Supervisors can visit the performance management website to learn more about the performance review process and access helpful resources.
The new system is the culmination of HR’s Kick-Start the Conversation initiative launched last fall, which focused on highlighting the new Performance Review System and communicating changes to the existing performance review format. Changes to the review format include a more direct focus on job responsibilities, the addition of behavioral expectations and a new five-tier rating scale.
An ad hoc committee with representatives from across campus collaborated with HR to develop the new approach to more closely align employee performance with the University’s strategic plan and support HReimagined.
“HReimagined continues to provide a robust roadmap for enhancing HR services and programs for UA and we are excited about the progress on HReimagined priorities, including staff Performance Reviews.” said Susan Norton, senior associate vice president for Human Resources.
