The University of Alabama wants you to stay connected, even while on the go. The UA app has added an employee persona to make that even easier.
After a trial run, the employee persona has officially been launched in the UA mobile app. It includes a new employee dashboard that offers users all the functions of employee self-service in myBama, including secure sign-in and DUO two-step security confirmation.
After opening the app, the user selects either a student or employee persona. The employee persona will open to reveal a suite of popular resources and services. Once securely signed in to the employee dashboard, the employee can check leave balances, view paycheck stubs, and updates tax witholdings. The app also offers the ability to clock in and out of work, all from a smartphone.
“This update to the UA app was designed with a great deal of thought for those employees whose jobs do not keep them at a computer work station all day, but are working across campus in some capacity,” said HR Operations Analyst Adam Fowler. “This is like having myBama in their pockets.”
