Spring Campus Assembly Tribute to Creativity, Resolve of Faculty, Staff

In the Spring Campus Assembly video, UA leaders express their gratitude to faculty and staff for their tremendous efforts and achievements that led UA through the past year.

“Throughout this challenging season for our nation, our communities, our University and our own families, I have witnessed you embrace the trials facing us with a relentless dedication,” said UA President Stuart R. Bell. “I am incredibly thankful for each of you.”

Without faculty and staff, UA could not have held steadfast to its mission, says Dr. James T. Dalton, provost and executive vice president

“We would not be successful in our pursuits without the contributions, resilience and commitment of our esteemed faculty and staff,” he said. “It is an honor to work with you as we continue to boldly advance the flagship in our sustained pursuit of excellence.”

Messages of gratitude and pride are shared throughout the video by several UA leaders. In addition to highlighting UA’s achievements this past academic year, the video announces the recipients of the E. Roger Sayers Distinguished Service Award and Dr. Minnie C. Miles Endowed Excellence Award.

“Thank you to all our UA faculty and staff for the collective role you play in shaping a better future and contributing to the Alabama experience every day,” Dalton said. “Tide Together, our best days are ahead.”
