Fostering intercultural understanding and promoting awareness of diverse cultures at The University of Alabama and beyond are the goals for UA’s International Education Week, Nov. 18-22.
The annual recognition is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education and is used to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences.
