Entertainment ranged from blues to jazz, hip-hop, rock and country, and from fashion to interpretive dance to ballet. Fashion and creativity were on display. Students enjoy a carnival ride. With activities stretching across the parking lot, there was something for everyone. Tidechella gave students an immersion into the UA and local culture. Students enjoyed classic carnival fare as well as foods from local vendors. A caricature station allowed students to capture the fun of Tidechella. Students were immersed in the arts from the time they stepped on the party buses until they left Coleman Coliseum. Tidechella was part of “Yea, Alabama! Weeks of Welcome.”
