
As of June 3, University Libraries requires students, faculty, staff and retirees to log in to myBama to access online resources such as journals, databases and e-books.
The authentication process adds another layer of security and reduces the inappropriate use of licensed content. Requiring on-campus login also will improve consistency in user experience and allow University Libraries to detect and address outages and problems more effectively.
This new policy aligns authentication requirements for both on- and off-campus users.
When accessing online library content, myBama will be the only sign-in required.
