Interim/Summer Parking and Transit Information

UA Transportation Services provides the following information about parking and transit services during the summer.

PARKING

Interim Parking Effective May 5-May 28

During Interim, free parking is available in the Ferguson, Campus Drive and ten Hoor parking decks. Individuals who choose to park in surface lots will be required to display a valid parking permit. Visitor permits may be purchased at the Transportation Services Office located at 451 Campus Dr. East, inside the transit hub.

Parking Permit Information Effective May 7-Aug. 5

Faculty/Staff Permits

  • Faculty/Staff Green and Reserve permits: valid in all commuter and residential zones, and the Perimeter zone.
  • Perimeter permits: valid only in the Perimeter zone.

Summer semester permits are valid for Interim, Summer I and Summer II.

Patron permits will be available for $20 on May 1. The permit will be valid until Aug. 15.

TRANSIT

The campus transit service will change for the summer beginning May 7. Crimson Ride (buses) will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 348-RIDE vans will run from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Only one bus will run on each primary route (Blue, Bronze, Crimson, Gold 1 & 2, Green, and Silver 1 & 2) for a total of eight. Because of road construction and the closure of Second Avenue between Bryant Drive and University Boulevard, the Crimson Route will detour. The Crimson route has changed for the summer by adding a stop at the trolley stop on Bryant Drive in front of the Museum and the Moody Stop (also on the Blue route) on University Boulevard. All other routes will remain the same.
