The University of Alabama’s College of Community Health Sciences will once again be hosting the Brussels Sprout Challenge during the American Heart Association West Alabama Heart Walk Saturday, March 25.

The University of Alabama’s history department is hosting a daylong conference Monday, March 27, that will highlight the transnational connections between the U.S. South and Latin America in the 19th century. The conference is titled “Dreams of Dominion: The U.S. South and Latin America.”

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Dr. Jonathan L. Walton, a social ethicist and scholar of religions, has been selected as the 2017 Realizing the Dream distinguished lecturer. He will give his Realizing the Dream lecture at 7 p.m. March 23 in the Embassy Suites Ballroom. It’s free and open to the public.
