UA Chooses New Director of University of Alabama Press

Linda Manning, director of Northern Illinois University Press, has been appointed director of The University of Alabama Press starting Aug. 1. She replaces interim director Daniel Waterman. The University of Alabama Press is the only academic press in the state.

Dr. Ian McDonough, assistant professor of psychology at The University of Alabama, has been named a winner of the Matilda White Riley Early Stage Investigator Honors, a paper competition of the National Institutes of Health.
