UA Swim to the Top Participants to be Recognized at Luncheon

Participants ages 4 to 14 and University of Alabama and local officials will celebrate Swim to the Top, a four-week program designed to save lives and improve the health of at-risk children and youth, at a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 30, at the Benjamin Barnes Branch YMCA.

While members of a leading association of public relations professionals remain dissatisfied with the level of diversity and inclusion on their communication teams, few are being held accountable for developing and implementing strategies to improve. This is the key finding of a recent study conducted by Syracuse University and funded and released by the PRSA Foundation and the Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations at The University of Alabama.

The University Fellows Experience, housed in the Honors College at The University of Alabama, has selected 34 freshmen for the incoming Class of 2020. The Honors College selected these members from a pool of more than 660. The selected members represent 17 states.
