Crimson Racing Preparing for 2017 Contest

Crimson Racing is made up of students from the UA College of Engineering.

Cole Frederick, a senior studying mechanical engineering from Montevallo, prepares to drive the car built by Crimson Racing.

The Crimson Racing team performed better than in year’s past at the 2016 Formula SAE contest.

Members of Crimson Racing are designing and building a new car for the 2017 FSAE competition.

“We have a great team with a core of students graduating this year who have been involved since they were freshmen,” said Dr. Paul Puzinauskas, adviser to Crimson Racing.
