TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The 2016 University of Alabama Homecoming Court was selected in a Sept. 27 student election. A total of 11,736 votes were cast.
These students were selected as members of the court:
Megan Birkes, a senior restaurant and business management major, of Windermere, Florida, who was sponsored by Avanti Alumni Network.
Judith Burroughs, a senior accounting major, of Bessemer, who was sponsored by the Black Student Union.
Bryonna Rivera Burrows, a senior Spanish and political science major, of Kennesaw, Georgia, who was sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha.
Ainsley LeBlanc, a senior public relations major, of Cordova, Tennessee, who was sponsored by Alpha Omicron Pi.
Mackenzie Ross, a senior public relations and political science major, of Meridian, Mississippi, who was sponsored by Team One Love.
The Homecoming game begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, in Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Homecoming Parade begins at 1 p.m. Oct. 1 in downtown Tuscaloosa and moves through the campus.
The Homecoming rally and bonfire will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, on the UA Quad.
