TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The 2015 University of Alabama Homecoming Court was selected in a student election earlier this week.
These students were selected as members of the court:
Katie Baggett, a senior from Brewton, majoring in chemical engineering, sponsored by Theta Tau, the professional engineering fraternity.
Lauren Beers, a master’s student in sports business management from Warren Center, Pennsylvania, nominated by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
Jasmine Davis, a senior majoring in management from Atlanta, Georgia, sponsored by the National Pan-Hellenic Council.
Katelyn Katsafanas, a senior majoring in finance from Naperville, Illinois, sponsored by Phi Mu.
Halle Lindsay, a senior majoring in psychology and biology from Erie, Pennsylvania, sponsored by UA BLEND.
A total of 13,329 votes were cast. The queen will be crowned at halftime of the homecoming football game between UA and Arkansas
The game begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, in Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Homecoming Parade begins at 1 p.m. Oct. 10 in downtown Tuscaloosa and moves through the campus.
The Homecoming rally and bonfire will be today at 7 p.m. on the UA Quad.
