UA’s Bryant Museum Offers Events for Sept. 12 Gameday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Paul W. Bryant Museum on The University of Alabama campus will release a video and offer signings on Saturday, Sept. 12, before the Alabama-Middle Tennessee State football game.

Andrew Zow and Wesley Britt, this week’s honorary football captains, will be signing at the Museum from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In addition, author Dr. Donald Staffo will personalize copies of his books “I Love Alabama/I Hate Auburn,” “Alabama Football: Stallings to Saban” and “Saban Leads Crimson Tide to the 2009 National Championship” from 9 a.m. to noon at the museum.

At 9 a.m., the museum will release a video. Check BryantMuseum.com at that time or be at the Museum to be the first to view this  project. Visitors to the Bryant Museum will get a printed keepsake related to the video.

“The video is only one minute but makes a powerful statement that will be meaningful to fans of Coach Bryant and Alabama football,” said Ken Gaddy, museum director.

In addition, people named Bryant, William, Bear or Paul will gather at the annual tailgate party for those named after Coach Paul William Bryant. Festivities begin at noon; pre-registration is required.
