UA’s Bama Dining to Offer Free Starbucks, Discounts to Veterans, Service Members

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama’s Bama Dining is showing its gratitude for veterans and active duty military personnel this Veterans Day.

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, Bama Dining is inviting all veterans and current service members to start their days with a free tall coffee from Starbucks. In addition, Burke Dining Hall will have a $5 special for its nine-station buffet all day.

“We are grateful to have the opportunity to show our appreciation to our military personnel who sacrificed their lives for our freedom,” said AJ DeFalco, resident district manager for Bama Dining. “We hope that our veterans and active duty military will join us on Veterans Day to relax and enjoy a meal as thanks.”

Burke Dining Hall, at 920 Hackberry Lane, will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Starbucks, at 751 Campus Drive, will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
