UA Club Hosts Model UN for High Schools

About 150 high school students from 10 high schools in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee will participate in the sixth Alabama Model United Nations Conference from Friday, Feb. 21, to Sunday, Feb. 23, at The University of Alabama.

UA’s Graduate Parent Support Program Wins Leadership Award

The American Council on Education has named The University of Alabama’s Graduate Parent Support program as the 2014 recipient of its State Network Leadership Award for the Advancement of Women in Higher Education. The award will be presented to Dr. Cori Perdue, director of GPS and UA Graduate School programs, at the Women’s Network Leadership Council reception, part of ACE’s 96th annual meeting in March in San Diego.

Black Warrior Film Festival Seeks Submissions for Event at UA
