TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama College of Arts & Sciences School of Music presents the Fall Spectrum Showcase concert, a “Best of the Best” variety show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 in the Concert Hall of Moody Music Building.
The Fall Spectrum concert is a fast-paced sampler performance showcasing the groups and styles that make up The University of Alabama School of Music.
The concert will culminate with a featured appearance by the entire University of Alabama Million Dollar Band performing the favorite cheers and songs associated with football at Bryant-Denny.
Attendees have an opportunity to hear this group “up close” along with the other stars of the UA music program. Everything from classical to jazz will be featured. The show is free and open to the public. For more information, visit music.ua.edu or phone 205/348-7111.
The School of Music has more than 350 music majors and 35 full-time faculty members and offers graduate and undergraduate programs.
UA’s School of Music is part of the College of Arts and Sciences, the University’s largest division and the largest liberal arts college in the state. Students from the College have won numerous national awards including Rhodes Scholarships, Goldwater Scholarships, Truman Scholarships and memberships on the USA Today Academic All American Team.
