UA Lists Items Not Allowed in Stadium On A-Day

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Crimson Tide fans who are planning to attend A-Day activities on Saturday, April 20 are reminded that the following items cannot be brought into the stadium:

•         A purse or tote bag bigger than an 8 ½ X 11 sheet of paper

•          Outside food or drink

•          Coolers

•          Umbrellas

•          Artificial noisemakers

•         Flags or banners on poles

These restrictions will be strictly enforced on A-Day, with no exceptions.  Prohibited items should not be taken to the stadium, since there will be no place to leave or store the items at the gates.  “Leaving prohibited items in your vehicle will make entering the stadium much quicker,” said Deborah Lane, associate vice president for University Relations.

“As a result of the tragic events in Boston this week, we are being even more proactive about the safety and security of our fans, which is one of our highest priorities,” said Lane. “We know that our fans will work with us to make sure that this year’s A-Day Game is a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone.”

Fans are encouraged to visit http://uagameday.com/landing.php for the A-Day schedule of events, as well as information on parking, tailgating, traffic and more.
