Strawberry Festival to be Held at UA Farmers Market
Homegrown Alabama, the student-led farmers market, will host its first Strawberry Festival Thursday, May 3, from 3-6 p.m.

University of Alabama senior Adam Hill of Douglasville, Ga., has been awarded a $15,000 Windgate Fellowship from the UNC Asheville Center for Craft, Creativity & Design.

Benjamin T. Ladrillono, a University of Alabama sophomore in the department of advertising and public relations, was one of 16 undergraduate minority students nationwide to receive a $5,000 scholarship from The LAGRANT Foundation.
