The Coca-Cola Foundation Honors UA Scholarship Students

NOTE: Media are invited to this event and are welcome to arrive before noon to meet the students and to stay for lunch.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — A luncheon honoring The University of Alabama’s 2011-2012 Coca-Cola First Generation Scholars will be held Thursday, March 29, at noon in Smith Hall on the UA campus.

Coca-Cola executives will be on hand to meet and honor the 12 freshman recipients of the Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarships.

The Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarships are awarded to deserving Alabama students who are the first in their families to attend college. Each student will receive a $5,000 scholarship each year for four years.

The 2011-2012 UA Coca-Cola First Generation Scholars are:
