Supply Store to Present UA Graduation Celebration

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Supply Store will hold a Graduation Celebration on Wednesday and Thursday, March 7-8, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Plaza (rain location Ferguson Center, first floor lobby).

The event is designed to be a one-stop shopping and preparation site for May graduates. Representatives from various campus offices, including Student Financial Aid, the Corolla and the Career Center, will be at the event to provide assistance to future graduates.

The Career Center will be offering quick resume critiques during Graduation Celebration. Students can bring their resume by for Career Center professionals to review.

Graduating students may visit a number of vendors during the Graduation Celebration and place orders for class rings, graduation announcements, caps and gowns, diploma frames and hoods for master’s and doctoral students. A representative from Stacy Jones Photography will be on hand to take cap and gown graduation portraits and will offer packages for purchase.

The event is also sponsored by Balfour, the University’s official class ring manufacturer. Refreshments and lunch at noon will be served at the celebration, and a number of door prizes will be awarded. No purchase is necessary to register for the prizes.

There will also be a School of Law Graduation Celebration on Wednesday, March 7, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Supply Store Law Center location. Law students can order announcements, rings, and caps/gowns during this time.
