TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Sarah Moody Gallery of Art on The University of Alabama campus will open its 2012 Faculty Biennial Exhibition with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12.
The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will run through Friday, Feb. 17.
The exhibit features art work created by current studio faculty and emeritus faculty members of the department of art and art history at UA. Works include photography, sculpture, printmaking, painting, drawing, digital art and ceramics.
This year’s exhibiting artists are: Dr. Amalia Amaki, professor; W. Lowell Baker, professor; Tom Barnes, professor; Henry Betak, professor emeritus; Gay Burke, professor; William Dooley, associate professor; Dr. Brian Evans, associate professor; Chris Jordan, assistant professor; Uta Krapf, professor; Sarah Marshall, associate professor; Pete Schulte, assistant professor; Alvin Sella, professor emeritus; Sky Shineman, assistant professor; and Craig Wedderspoon, associate professor.
The Sarah Moody Gallery of Art is supported by The College of Arts and Sciences and the department of art and art history. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The gallery is at 103 Garland Hall on Woods Quad.
