UA Engineering Students Launch Rocket for NASA Competition

The Rocket Girls, an all-female team of engineering students at The University of Alabama, will fire its first rocket in the 2011 NASA University Student Launch Initiative in Huntsville April 16.

Dramatic Requiem, Spiritual Symphony on Tap for UA Orchestra Concert

The University of Alabama’s Huxford Symphony Orchestra, the University Singers and University Chorus will perform Mozart’s Requiem and the Symphony No. 3 by contemporary Estonian composer Arvo Pärt at 7:30 p.m. April 22 in the Concert Hall of the Moody Music Building.
