UA’s Manderson Graduate School of Business No. 22 among Publics on Forbes List

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — In the latest Forbes Best Business Schools list, the Manderson Graduate School of Business at The University of Alabama is ranked no. 57 among all graduate schools of business and No. 22 among public institutions.

The overall ranking is up from 66 last year, and the ranking among public institutions is up from No. 27.

In the Southeastern Conference, Manderson is third, behind Vanderbilt and Georgia.

“Business school rankings are important, but there are other factors that need to be taken into consideration when choosing where to earn a graduate business degree,”  said Rob Morgan, associate dean, Manderson Graduate School of Business.

“Prospective students need to consider a school’s placement statistics, ties with various industries and employers, and which companies recruit at that school. We are fortunate to have strong ties with some of the world’s largest companies, as well as most of the major financial organizations.”

“In addition,” Morgan said, “we have an extremely strong faculty that challenges and stimulates the students. Our emphasis on teamwork, technology and our global approach make Manderson an attractive choice.”
