Tuscaloosa, Ala. – The University of Alabama Panhellenic Association is hosting the 2011 Panhellenic Preview Weekend March 25-27 for high school seniors and college students interested in fall recruitment.
Panhellenic Preview Weekend is an opportunity to experience what sorority life is like at UA. Women will get a firsthand look at each sorority house and gain valuable information about what to expect in fall 2011 formal recruitment. Participants will also be able meet other fellow recruitment participants, as well as active sorority members.
Saturday, March 26, begins with a welcome program led by the UA Panhellenic Executive Council. Participants will then be broken into Sigma Rho Chi groups and tour each sorority house while parents attend their own session.
The participants will tour 18 sororities throughout the day for nine-minute presentations.
“Currently, 800 women have registered for this event and that number is growing daily,” said Caroline Campbell, Alabama Panhellenic Association assistant director of recruitment. “We are looking at this to be a very successful event and are eager to share with these women a taste of the University and the Greek community.”

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Check-in at The South Zone (Bryant-Denny Stadium)
12:45 p.m. Welcome Program
1:20 p.m. Sigma Rho Chi Assignments
1:45 p.m. Walk to Sorority Row
2:00 p.m. First House Tour Begins
5:45 p.m. Final House Tour Begins
