Power to the following facilities will be temporarily suspended on Aug. 1 from 3:30 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m. while Alabama Power performs utility work. Currently enrolled UA students who wish to purchase tickets to away football games must place their names on a waiting list during the first week of fall semester classes, Aug. 18-25. Tickets will be allocated to students on the waiting list based on UA credit hours earned. This is NOT a first-come, first-served ticket sale. More information and details will be sent to your official UA Crimson e-mail account in the coming weeks. If you have any questions, please contact the UA Ticket Office at (205) 348-6113.
The University is making plans for Thursday, Nov. 18, the new date of the UA vs. Georgia State football game, and would like to be informed of all campus events planned for Nov. 17 and 18. Anyone with events or activities scheduled for those dates should send information to Trent Barnes, assistant director of games and event management, at tbarnes@ia.ua.edu.
